Part of Glod’s Freestyle series, FAMOUS explores the darker side of success and recognition. Painted on an everyday cardboard surface, the exhausted figure of the winner becomes a symbol of what can exist behind fame: pressure, exhaustion and the cost of constantly having to perform. The raw, spontaneous execution reinforces the contrast between the idea of being famous and the reality that lies behind the image of success.
